Rodarte FW20,
Night of Vampires re-interpretation

Enter this romantic dystopia, where nature takes back one's right
A living painting
Our first impression of Kate and Laura Mulleavy's universe was that they brought us into a romantic dystopia, where nature takes back one's rights in this solemn St Bartholomew's church in Manhattan. The whole picture then appeared to us like a living painting, which we wanted to highlight in our re-interpretation. The final installation is made of a lot of different layers, reliefs and mediums that create shadows and represent the variety of sensory information that we can find in the show.
